Love how this place is more affordable than a lot of the other bubble tea places in ID! Had their iced regular milk tea and it was a large size for only $3.25. It was fresh and I ended up sitting at one of their tables to read for a bit. So many of the other bubble tea shops have huge lines and no available seating. It was a tad run down in terms of furniture and decor, but I wasn't looking for anything fancy.
I saw that one table had an outlet for those that want to hang around with their computers. Good quick service. Best to bring cash, however, as their was a sign saying that there was a 50 cent charge for cards. -

Fast. Friendly. And a lot of choices! My son didn't like the strawberry milkshake much. It was really sweet he said.
My milk tea was delicious though. -

I tried the black sesame milk tea. I thought this was black-sesame flavored milk tea, but it was just regular milk tea with ground up black sesame seeds which sank to the bottom so the black sesame taste was too subtle and non homogeneous. The ground up seeds also felt strange going down my throat, causing me to cough often. The milk tea was not very flavorful and tasted watered down. The tapioca was kind of stiff and too chewy. Overall, edible but wouldn't return.

Ive stopped in ambrosia a few times and my conclusion is the drinks here are only ok. They price point is good usually under 5.5 a drink but it's not really worth a stop in.
The slushes are always super icy not smooth any smoothie drink really.
The boba lacks flavor and is a bit hard.
Also the teas are kind of bitter not strong a flavorful.
With few places to sit and other tea shop options I don't really see myself coming back for awhile. -

I don't know why this bubble tea shop can exist in Chinatown. I got jasmine milk tea no sugar and the tea quality was inferior, reminded me of really cheap bubble tea shops that use powder as their base. If not, why would my jasmine tea be PINK? Although it was significantly cheaper than other trendier spots ($3.50 including herbal jelly) it was a waste of money.
